I'm Chris Nolen, a designer, art director, writer, illustrator, noob filmmaker, and terrible musician. I am also an avid gamer, bike rider, and lounger. Despite the crazy taxes, I live, work, and consume in Jackson, MS.
I've got 17 years of professional experience, and the last nine or so, I've been a designer and art director for some of Jackson's finest ad agencies, speak at various design-related functions, and generally try to be a good mentor and better teacher to the designers and students that I work with. And in there somewhere I write about stuff I like, scripts for graphic novels, and work on various festival organizations. Too much to do any of it well, probably, but striving for perfection in just a couple of things is boring.
My day job: Señor Art Director at Mad Genius Creative Fusion.
My night job: Adjunct Design Professor at Hinds Community College
