To celebrate the season, I thought I'd post one of the best riffs on the classic Rankin/Bass holiday special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer brought to us by Verizon Wireless. It's a deep stab at poor ole' iPhone and its anemic 3G coverage (allegedly anemic, says this proud iPhone owning editor.) But even this apple fanboy has to give credit where it is due, cause this one is pretty brilliant...right down to voices of the perfect recreations of the classic characters. Speaking of which, anyone else ever notice how similar the Island of Misfit Toys is to Big Gay Al's Animal Sanctuary? Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure that the dentist elf was different for more than just his lack of pointy ears. Just sayin.
